The third quarter of 2023 has seen notable trends in the performance of the top five dating applications in Poland. Here, we break down the data on downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for the leading apps in this category.
Throughout Q3, Tinder experienced fluctuations in both revenue and user engagement. Revenue peaked at around $170K in the week of July 24, before gradually declining to approximately $135K by the end of September. Downloads varied, reaching a high of 17.9K in late July and then stabilizing around 15.7K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users started at 460K but saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at approximately 400K.
Badoo's revenue showed a downward trend, starting at $79K in late June and decreasing to about $59K by the end of September. Downloads remained relatively stable, with peaks around 14.7K in late July and a slight drop to 12.9K by the quarter's end. Weekly active users also experienced a decline, from 384K at the start to around 339K by the end of September.
Grindr's revenue saw a slight decrease, peaking at $22.7K in early August and dropping to $17.2K by the end of September. Downloads were relatively low, with a peak of 2.2K in late July and a drop to 947 by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, hovering around 23K throughout the quarter.
Bumble's revenue saw minor fluctuations, starting at $11.3K in late June and ending at $10K by late September. Downloads increased towards the end of the quarter, peaking at 3.4K in mid-September. Weekly active users showed a steady rise, starting at 50K in late June and reaching approximately 54K by the end of September.
Kismia's revenue saw an upward trend, peaking at $9.7K in early August. Downloads were highest in mid-August at 3.7K but saw a decline to about 1.8K by the end of September. Weekly active users also showed variability, peaking at 4.2K in mid-August and ending at around 2.8K by the end of the quarter.
