In the third quarter of 2023, the performance of fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in the Dominican Republic varied significantly. Here’s a look at how the top five apps fared in terms of weekly downloads and active users, with data sourced from Sensor Tower.
KFC RD showed a varied trend in weekly downloads throughout Q3. Starting with 622 downloads in late June, the app experienced fluctuations, peaking at 978 downloads in the last week of September. Weekly downloads consistently stayed between 565 and 912, with notable peaks in the weeks of August 28 and September 25.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery saw a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning with 430 at the end of June and reaching a high of 732 in the last week of September. Active users remained relatively stable, with a slight increase from 5.4K in early July to 5.5K in late September.
Domino's Pizza Caribbean experienced a slight decline in weekly downloads from 438 in late June to 394 in the last week of September. However, active users showed a minor decrease, starting at 2K in late June and ending at around 1.6K in late September.
Pizzarelli had fluctuating weekly downloads, beginning with 341 at the end of June and reaching a high of 517 in mid-July. Downloads remained consistent between 315 and 446 for the rest of the quarter.
Lastly, Burger King® RD saw significant growth in weekly downloads, starting at 556 in late June and peaking at 1.1K in the last week of September. Active users also increased steadily from 112 in late June to 478 by the end of September.
