In the third quarter of 2023, the performance of the top five fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in the United Kingdom varied significantly in terms of weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at how each app fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
McDonald’s U.K. The app saw a notable increase in weekly downloads, peaking at approximately 193K in the week of September 18. Weekly active users also exhibited a steady rise, reaching around 1.5M by the end of the quarter.
Domino's Pizza Delivery Weekly downloads for the Domino's app fluctuated, dipping to about 43K in the week of September 4 but recovering to around 79K by the end of the quarter. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at about 440K and increasing to 473K in the final week of September.
Greggs Greggs experienced a significant surge in weekly downloads, culminating at approximately 111K in the last week of September. Active users also saw a sharp increase, rising from 224K at the start of the quarter to about 339K by the end.
Costa Coffee Club The Costa Coffee Club app showed consistent weekly downloads, peaking at around 46K in the week of September 25. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 400K throughout the quarter.
KFC App UKI - Order & Delivery The KFC app had a modest increase in weekly downloads, reaching about 43K in mid-September. Active users saw a slight rise, ending the quarter at around 326K.
