In Q3 2023, the performance of the leading fast food and fast casual restaurant apps in Norway reflected diverse trends in downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides a comprehensive view of the market dynamics for the top five apps.
McDonald’s - Non-US saw a consistent download trend throughout the quarter, starting at approximately 4.9K weekly downloads in late June and ending the quarter at around 3.3K. Weekly active users fluctuated, peaking at over 54K at the beginning of the quarter and stabilizing around 47K by the end of September.
Pizzabakeren Norway experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, beginning the quarter with roughly 1.8K and reaching a peak of over 3K in late August. The app maintained this momentum, closing the quarter with about 2K weekly downloads.
Burger King® Norge demonstrated a steady rise in downloads, starting at 2K per week and ending the quarter at approximately 2.3K. Weekly active users showed a slight increase from 683 in late June to 739 by the end of September.
Espresso House had a fluctuating download pattern, with a significant spike in early September, reaching over 2.3K weekly downloads. Active users also saw growth, beginning at 23.7K and peaking at over 26.7K in mid-September.
Domino's Pizza Norway exhibited a remarkable surge in weekly downloads, starting at 1.2K in late June and peaking at 4.3K in mid-September. However, active users data was only available for the last week of September, showing 14 users.
