In the third quarter of 2023, the food delivery app market in Denmark saw varying trends across the top five applications. Here’s a closer look at their performance metrics:
Wolt Delivery: Food and more experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting from around 6.3K in mid-July and peaking at roughly 11.6K by mid-September. Active users also showed a positive trend, growing from approximately 75K at the end of June to about 83K by the end of September.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste demonstrated steady growth in weekly downloads, which rose from around 3.5K in late June to about 5.4K in mid-September. The app maintained a strong active user base, with numbers increasing from approximately 380K at the start of the quarter to around 457K by the end.
foodora Denmark: food delivery showed a consistent rise in weekly downloads, starting at about 3.5K in late June and reaching approximately 5K by mid-September. Active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from around 7K at the beginning of the quarter to about 8.4K by the end.
Just Eat DK - Levering af mad had stable weekly downloads, ranging from around 2.6K to nearly 2.9K throughout the quarter. The active user count hovered around 31K to 32K, showing minimal fluctuation.
Lastly, HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery saw an increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 1.7K in late June and peaking at about 3.2K in early August before declining slightly towards the end of the quarter. Active users grew from approximately 56K to around 62K during the same period.
