In the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 shopping apps in the United Kingdom demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here’s a detailed look at their download numbers, revenue, and weekly active users.
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw substantial download activity, peaking at approximately 509K in mid-July. Downloads fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending with around 425K in the last week of September. The app also experienced a consistent increase in weekly active users, starting at 1.7M at the end of June and rising to nearly 2.93M by the end of September.
Tesco Groceries for iPhone maintained a steady download rate, with a slight dip in mid-August. The highest download count was around 244K in late July, and the quarter concluded with approximately 183K downloads. Weekly active users demonstrated a stable pattern, beginning at 2.2M and ending at approximately 2.36M.
SHEIN - Shopping Online had a relatively stable download trend throughout the quarter, with a noticeable dip in early September to about 100K, before rebounding to roughly 149K by the end of the month. The weekly active users metric showed minor fluctuations, starting at 3.27M and closing the quarter at around 3.27M.
Nectar: Shop & Collect Points experienced a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at approximately 117K in mid-September. The number of weekly active users grew from 676K at the end of June to nearly 826K by the end of September, showcasing steady user engagement.
Amazon showed consistent download activity throughout Q3, with a notable increase in mid-September, reaching around 90K downloads. Weekly active users remained robust, starting at approximately 3.98M and finishing the quarter at about 4.03M. Revenue for Amazon displayed minor weekly variations, peaking at around $931 in early September.
