In the third quarter of 2023, Brazil's top virtual fitness programs displayed varying performance trends on a unified platform, combining data from both iOS and Android. Here’s a closer look at the top 5 apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Lucky Running saw a sharp increase in weekly downloads, peaking at around 257K in mid-August before gradually declining to approximately 30K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, reaching a high of 242K in mid-August and dropping to about 77K by the end of the quarter.
fitpro maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, with weekly downloads ranging from 81K to 101K. Active users fluctuated slightly, starting at 1.6M at the beginning of the quarter and ending at about 1.5M in the final week.
Jolly Steps experienced a notable rise in downloads, peaking at 165K in mid-August before tapering off to around 74K by the end of September. Active users increased from 53K at the start of the quarter to a peak of 181K in mid-August, then leveled off to approximately 139K.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike reported consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $57K to $66K. Downloads ranged from 55K to 70K, with a peak in mid-September. Active users remained robust, starting at 855K and reaching approximately 900K towards the end of the quarter.
Home Workout - No Equipment showed a steady increase in weekly revenue, peaking at about $2.5K in mid-September. Downloads spiked to 76K in late August and then fluctuated between 31K and 70K. Active users grew from 382K at the start of the quarter to about 440K by early September, tapering slightly to 393K by the end.
