In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five apocalypse-themed games on the Android platform in Austria showcased diverse performance trends in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview of their metrics based on data from Sensor Tower.
Whiteout Survival by Century Games Pte. Ltd. saw a consistent increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $33K in mid-November. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable surge to 3.2K in the last week of December. Weekly active users grew steadily, reaching 6.7K by the end of the quarter.
LeyiGames's Mad Survivor: Arid Warfire showed a gradual rise in revenue, culminating at around $1K in late December. However, downloads decreased significantly, dropping from 995 in late October to 313 by the end of December. The game maintained a stable number of active users, with a slight increase to 1.1K in the final week.
Century Games PTE. LTD.'s Frozen City experienced a decline in both revenue and downloads. Revenue dropped from $3.4K in late September to $2.3K in mid-December, before recovering to $3K by the end of the quarter. Downloads saw a consistent decrease, falling to just over 100 by late December. Active users also declined, from 3K in late September to 2K by the end of December.
Doomsday Shelter: Survival from Triathlon HK showed varied revenue trends, peaking at $1.7K in mid-November and ending the quarter with $1.7K. Downloads remained relatively low but stable, reaching 353 in the final week of December. Active users increased steadily, growing from 3.6K in late September to 4.3K by the end of December.
Last Fortress: Underground by LIFE IS A GAME LIMITED displayed a steady increase in revenue, reaching nearly $9K in the last week of December. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 368 in late October before declining to 128 by the end of December. Active users saw a slight increase, peaking at 1.7K in late October and ending the quarter with 1.2K.
