The fourth quarter of 2023 saw interesting trends in the carpooling and ridesharing app market on the Android platform in Latvia. Here’s a detailed look at the performance of the top five apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Bolt Technology's app maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at 1.5K in late September and showed minor fluctuations, ending the quarter at 1.1K. Despite the steady download rate, there was no reported revenue for this period.
Uber Technologies, Inc. saw relatively modest download numbers compared to Bolt. The app began the quarter with 231 downloads in the final week of September, peaking at 251 in late October, and then gradually declining to 143 by the end of December. There was no reported revenue for this app during the quarter.
BlaBlaCar, from the French publisher BlaBlaCar, experienced a consistent but low download rate. Downloads varied slightly, starting at 55 in late September and closing the quarter at 53. No revenue data was reported for the app during this period.
Uber's driver app had a similar download trend to its rider counterpart. It started with 47 downloads in late September, saw a peak of 60 in late October and late November, and ended the quarter with 58 downloads. Like the others, there was no reported revenue for this app.
inDrive, published by ® SUOL INNOVATIONS LTD, showed a gradual increase in downloads over the quarter. Beginning with 29 downloads in late September, it reached a peak of 67 in early November before settling at 36 by the end of December. There was no revenue reported for this app during Q4 2023.
