During the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top food delivery apps on the Android platform in Argentina showcased diverse trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here, we break down the performance of the leading apps: PedidosYa - Delivery Online, Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery, Glovo: Food Delivery and More, Uber Eats: Food Delivery, and Vivino: Buy the Right Wine.
PedidosYa - Delivery Online saw its downloads fluctuate throughout the quarter, peaking at around 36K in early October and mid-December, before dipping to approximately 29K in the week of December 18. The app maintained a high level of weekly active users, starting at 1.53M in early October and ending at 1.32M by the end of December.
Rappi: Food Delivery, Grocery experienced a variable download trend, with a high of nearly 13.9K in late October, followed by a gradual decline to approximately 9.6K in the last week of December. The weekly active users for Rappi started at about 208K in early October, showing a downward trend to approximately 159K by the end of December.
Glovo: Food Delivery and More recorded a gradual increase in downloads, starting at around 1K in late September and reaching about 2K in early December. Weekly active users for Glovo showed a peak at nearly 403K in late September but saw a slight decline, ending at approximately 344K by late December.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery had relatively stable download figures, maintaining around 400 downloads per week throughout the quarter. However, weekly active users displayed a slight decline from about 26K in late September to approximately 18K by the end of December.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showed consistent revenue growth, starting at $27 in late September and peaking at $47 by the last week of December. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at around 327 in early October and stabilizing at approximately 267 by the end of December. Weekly active users saw a slight decline from about 6K in late September to approximately 4.9K by the end of December.
