State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
In the fourth quarter of 2023, the Australian market saw varied performance among the top food delivery services on the Android platform. According to Sensor Tower's analysis, here's how these apps fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.
DoorDash - Food Delivery experienced fluctuating download numbers, peaking at 18K in late November followed by a dip to around 7.5K in December. The app's weekly active users started strong at 357K in the last week of September, then saw a general downward trend, ending the quarter with about 312K active users.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery also encountered fluctuations in downloads, with a high of 9.4K at the end of November. Weekly active users for Uber Eats started at 360K and, despite some ups and downs, finished the quarter slightly lower at 324K.
Menulog AU | Food Delivery downloads ranged between 3.6K and 4.9K, suggesting a relatively stable demand throughout the quarter. The weekly active users saw a modest decrease from 58K in late September to around 54K by the year's end.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery downloads showed a slight decreasing trend, starting at over 2K in September and ending below 1K in December. The weekly active users for HelloFresh witnessed a decrease from 49K at the beginning of the quarter to 43K at the close.
Lastly, Youfoodz: Custom Meal Plan downloads showed a downward trend throughout the quarter, starting at 1.9K and ending at 755. However, the data for weekly active users is not available.
