State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five food delivery services on the Android platform in Portugal exhibited diverse performance trends in terms of downloads and active users. Here's a closer look at how each app fared during this period.
Glovo: Food Delivery and More saw a fluctuating trend in downloads, starting at around 5.1K in late September and peaking at approximately 6.3K in mid-October. The app closed the quarter with about 6K downloads in the last week of December. Weekly active users for Glovo remained relatively stable, initially around 139K, experiencing a peak at 161K in early December, before slightly dipping to 134K by the end of the year.
Too Good To Go: End Food Waste experienced a downward trend in downloads throughout the quarter. Starting with about 7.8K downloads in late September, the numbers gradually decreased to around 2.3K by mid-December, with a slight recovery to 3.9K in the final week of December. Active users also showed a decline from approximately 132K in late September to about 94K by the end of December.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery had a relatively stable download pattern with minor fluctuations. Downloads ranged from around 3.8K to 4.8K, with a noticeable peak in the last week of December. Weekly active users for Uber Eats started at approximately 222K, peaking at 232K in late October, and then gradually declined to 187K by the end of December.
Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway showed a consistent download trend with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Starting at about 3.1K downloads in late September, the app saw a peak of 4.4K in the last week of December. Active users for Bolt Food remained stable around 38K throughout the quarter, with a slight increase to 40K in the final week.
Lastly, Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced significant growth in both downloads and active users. Downloads surged from around 288 in late September to over 3.2K by the end of December. Active users also saw a substantial increase from about 9.9K in early October to 18.6K in mid-December, closing the quarter at 17.8K.
