During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 free-to-play games on the Android platform in Oman showcased diverse performance metrics in terms of downloads, revenue, and active user trends. Below is a detailed overview of each game's quarterly performance.
Throughout Q4 2023, Hajwala & Drift Online experienced fluctuations in its weekly downloads, starting strong with 5.2K downloads in late September and peaking at 7.6K in the first week of October. However, downloads saw a decline towards the end of the quarter, closing at 3.8K in the final week of December. The game’s weekly revenue demonstrated a more sporadic pattern, with notable peaks at $19 in late October and late November. Active user numbers were relatively stable, starting at 8.4K in late September and ending at 11.6K by the end of December.
Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles saw consistent weekly downloads through the quarter, starting at 4.1K in late September and achieving a peak of 4.9K in early October. The downloads dipped to a low of 2.7K in early December but rebounded to 4.1K by the end of the quarter. Revenue remained modest, with a peak of $16 in late October. The active user base fluctuated, starting at 19.7K in late September and experiencing a dip to 16.2K in early December before recovering to 20.9K by the end of December.
Tic Tac Toe - 2 Player XO had a varied download trend, with an initial high of 7.4K in late September, then a decrease to around 3.1K in early November, and a slight recovery to 4.1K by the end of December. Free Fire maintained a steady weekly revenue throughout Q4, with earnings around $6K to $7K, peaking at $7.7K in the final week of December. Downloads showed a fluctuating pattern, starting at 4.2K in late September, peaking at 4.9K in early October, and ending at 3.9K by late December. The active user base was robust, starting at 82.7K in late September and gradually increasing to 94.6K by the end of December.
Spider Fighting: Hero Game saw a significant increase in downloads over the quarter, starting with just 187 in late September and rising to over 5.6K by the end of December. Active users also exhibited growth, beginning at 553 in late September and climbing to 10.8K by the end of December. The game did not generate any revenue during this period.
