In Q4 2023, the top Health and Fitness apps on the Android platform in the United States demonstrated diverse performance trends. Here’s a closer look at the weekly downloads, active users, and revenue for each app as compiled by Sensor Tower.
Pedometer - Step Counter From Jersey Studio, this app saw a notable surge in weekly downloads early in the quarter, peaking at 284K in the week of October 9. Following this, downloads gradually decreased, stabilizing around 55K by late December. Active users showed a steady rise, reaching a high of 335K in late October, before a slight decline to approximately 250K by the end of December.
BP Tracker: Blood Pressure Hub This app from Appsky Hong Kong Limited experienced a consistent pattern in downloads, with significant peaks of 145K in mid-October and 99K in late November. Active users increased steadily throughout the quarter, peaking at about 183K in early December before a slight dip to 162K by the end of the month.
Blood Pressure App Published by QR Code Scanner, this app maintained relatively stable download numbers, with a notable increase to 103K in the final week of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, starting at 145K in late September and reaching nearly 196K by the end of the quarter.
Planet Fitness Workouts Planet Fitness’s app showed consistent weekly downloads, with a significant spike to 67K in the last week of December. Active users fluctuated slightly but remained above 1M throughout the quarter, peaking at approximately 1.17M in late November. Weekly revenue was relatively stable, averaging around $800.
Blood Pressure This app from P & L Studio saw a dramatic increase in downloads, especially in late November, peaking at 92K in the final week of December. Active users also showed significant growth, starting at 38K in late September and rising to over 180K by the end of December.
