In Q4 2023, the top navigation and maps apps on Android in Venezuela exhibited diverse trends in downloads and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Google Earth saw a fluctuating download trend. Starting with 2.7K downloads in late September, it dropped to 2.2K by mid-October. However, it peaked at 4.4K in early November before stabilizing around 2.5K by the end of December. Active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 26.9K, peaking at 32.2K in early November, and ending the quarter at 26.1K.
GPS Earth Maps Live Navigation showed a steady increase in downloads from 1.1K in late September to a peak of 3.8K in early December, though it dipped to 1.6K by the end of December. Active users mirrored this growth, rising from 4.2K to a high of 9.1K in early December, before settling at 7K by the quarter’s end.
Google Maps maintained a consistent download rate, starting at 619 and peaking at 1.5K in mid-November, before stabilizing around 950 by late December. Weekly active users remained stable throughout the quarter, averaging around 50K, with a slight dip to 48.4K in the final week of December.
Google Maps Go experienced a moderate increase in downloads, starting at 433 in late September and peaking at 1.1K in mid-November, before ending the quarter at 862. Active users displayed a similar trend, rising from 2.1K to a peak of 2.8K, and ending at 2.8K in late December.
Live Earth Map: Street View 3D had a modest download performance, starting at 358 and peaking at 613 in late October, before stabilizing around 469 by the end of December. Active users showed a consistent trend, beginning at 531 and ending the quarter at 559, with a peak of 719 in late October.
