As the final quarter of 2023 wrapped up, Sensor Tower provided a glimpse into the performance of Australia's top fast food and fast casual restaurant apps on the iOS platform. Here's how the top contenders fared in Q4.
MyMacca's, the digital face of McDonald's Australia, showed varied download numbers, peaking at 65K and then tapering off to 13K towards the end of the quarter. Weekly active users started strong at 500K but saw a decline to 390K by the quarter's end.
KFC - Order On The Go maintained a steady performance with downloads oscillating between 16K and 11K. The app's weekly active users touched a high of 188K in mid-quarter but slightly decreased to 159K as the quarter closed.
The Hungry Jack’s Deals & Ordering app saw downloads ranging from 12K to 9K, indicating consistent usage. The weekly active users hovered around 112K to 110K, showcasing a stable user base throughout the quarter.
Domino's experienced a fluctuating download trend with a high of 11K, dipping down to 8K by year-end. The weekly active user count for Domino's showed a high of 53K before ending the quarter at 46K.
Lastly, Guzman y Gomez (GYG) Mexican app downloads saw a decline from 8K to 6K over the quarter. The app's weekly active users peaked at 22K but dropped to just under 20K by the close of Q4.
