State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!
During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five fitness and weight loss apps in Italy on the iOS platform showed a range of performance trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. The data comes from Sensor Tower, and more insights can be found there.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike experienced fluctuations in revenue, starting at around $23K in late September and ending the quarter at approximately $21.9K. Downloads saw a dip mid-quarter, falling to a low of 1.6K in early December before rebounding to 3.5K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users varied, peaking at 83K in early October and closing the quarter at around 71K.
Traininpink: Pilates e Fitness showed a downward trend in revenue, starting at $18K in late September and declining to about $9.8K by the end of December. Downloads also saw a decrease, from 779 in late September to 396 by the end of December.
Buddyfit: Fitness & Yoga displayed a mixed performance. Revenue fluctuated, peaking at $17K in late November but dropping to $5.7K by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar trend, with a high of 2K in mid-October and a low of 500 in mid-December. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, ranging from 9K to 10.5K throughout the quarter.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet maintained a steady revenue stream, starting at around $10.5K in late September and ending at $9.3K in late December. Downloads varied, peaking at 4.6K in mid-November and dropping to 2K by mid-December. Weekly active users saw a gradual decline from 154K in late September to 122K by the end of December.
BetterMe: Health Coaching had fluctuating revenue, starting at $8.3K in late September, dipping to $5.9K in early December, and rising again to $8.1K by the end of the quarter. Downloads showed a similar pattern, peaking at 4.1K in early October and fluctuating to 3.5K by the end of December. Weekly active users also varied, starting at 15.5K in late September, dipping to 9.7K in mid-December, and ending at 14K by the end of the quarter.
