The final quarter of 2023 witnessed interesting trends among the top MMORPGs on iOS in France. Data provided by Sensor Tower gives us a glimpse into the download numbers, revenue, and weekly active users for these games. Here's a breakdown of the performance of the top five MMORPG applications.
DOFUS Touch, from French publisher Ankama, saw its revenue peak at approximately $27K in early December, with downloads hitting a high of over 2K the same week. Active users reached a quarter high of over 17K in early December, indicating a strong end to the quarter.
Albion Online by Sandbox Interactive GmbH from Germany experienced its highest revenue of over $2K in the last week of December, with downloads also peaking at over 1.5K that week. The game's active users saw a significant increase, reaching nearly 3K also in the final week of December.
HaoPlay Limited's Revelation M, a newcomer released in mid-December, had a strong start with downloads surpassing 7K in its debut week. However, the game saw a sharp decline in the following weeks, with revenue dropping to just over $2K by the end of December.
Diablo Immortal from Blizzard Entertainment, Inc. had an impressive quarter with revenue soaring to over $35K in mid-December and downloads reaching their peak at 940 in the last week of December. Active users remained stable with a slight uptick to over 22K by the quarter's end.
Lastly, The Legend of Neverland by Ark Games saw its revenue nearly double to $8.7K in the final week of December, with downloads peaking at 717 the same week. Active users showed a healthy increase, reaching 4.3K by the end of the quarter.
