In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 paid games on the iOS platform in Finland showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and weekly active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Minecraft saw steady revenue throughout the quarter, starting at around $1.2K and peaking at approximately $1.4K in the last week of December. Downloads fluctuated between 130 and 216 per week, with a notable increase to 196 in the final week. The weekly active users showed a slight decline, beginning at approximately 31.3K and ending at around 30.2K.
Geometry Dash experienced a gradual decline in revenue, from around $579 at the start to $442 by the end of December. Downloads remained relatively stable, ranging from 167 to 282, with a minor uptick in the last week. Weekly active users decreased from approximately 14.8K to 15.7K, with a significant spike to 17.6K in mid-December.
Bloons TD 6 had consistent revenue, starting at $286 and reaching up to $357 by the end of the quarter. Downloads were low but saw a noticeable increase from 3 to 52 towards the end of the period. Weekly active users remained relatively steady, hovering around 500 throughout the quarter.
Five Nights at Freddy's showed a significant revenue increase mid-quarter, peaking at around $489 in the last week of October, then stabilizing to approximately $147 by the end of December. Downloads mirrored this trend, with a high of 193 in late October and a decrease to 35 by the end. Weekly active users rose from 22 to 299 by early November before settling at around 135 by the end of December.
Pou had steady revenue throughout the quarter, starting at $192 and peaking at $239 in the final week. Downloads varied, with a low of 38 and a high of 155, showing an increase towards the end. Weekly active users saw a gradual increase, starting at around 1.9K and reaching up to 2.2K by early December, before slightly dropping to 2.1K at the end.
