In the fourth quarter of 2023, Europe saw interesting performance trends for the top Pinball/Brick Breaker games on iOS. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a snapshot of how these games fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and active users.
Bricks n Balls experienced a fluctuating download trend, peaking at 33K in early October and then settling to around 12K by the end of December. The weekly active users for this title peaked at 304K in early October and saw a slight decrease to 251K by the year's end. Revenue for Bricks n Balls remained relatively stable, with a notable increase to $26K in the week leading up to Christmas.
Bricks Ball Crusher maintained a steady revenue stream, ranging from $15K to $20K, with a surge to $20K in the last week of December. Downloads saw a significant jump to 5.7K in the same period, while weekly active users experienced a rise from 75K in early December to 84K at the end of the month.
Brick Out - Shoot the ball had relatively modest revenue figures, with a slight uptick to $5.1K in the final week of December. The game's downloads and active users showed a downward trend throughout the quarter, with downloads dipping to 1.4K and active users to 14.8K by the end of December.
PunBall showed variability in its revenue, ending the quarter at $5.9K. Interestingly, the game had negligible downloads in December, but active users increased to 721, indicating a small but engaged player base.
Lastly, Bricks Breaker Quest saw consistent revenue around $3.5K to $4K, with downloads showing an upward trend, reaching 4.5K during the last week of December. Active users peaked at 69.5K in mid-December before settling to 65.6K at the quarter's end.
