Throughout Q4 2023, the performance of the top 5 puzzle and riddle games on iOS in Switzerland showed varying trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s an overview of each app’s performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Brain Test: Tricky Puzzles saw consistent growth in weekly revenue, starting at around $176 at the end of September and peaking at approximately $251 in mid-November. Downloads fluctuated, with a notable increase in the last week of December, reaching 1.5K downloads. The number of active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at 11K at the end of October and ending the quarter with around 10K active users.
DOP 5: Delete One Part experienced an upward trend in downloads early in the quarter, peaking at 1.5K in the second week of October. However, downloads declined steadily towards the end of the year, settling at 682 in the last week of December. Active user numbers mirrored the download trend, starting at 1.1K in September and peaking at 2.4K in mid-October before gradually declining to 1.4K by the end of December.
Maze Tracer had a significant spike in downloads in early November, reaching over 4K downloads. This spike was followed by a decline, with downloads stabilizing around 600-700 towards the end of December. No revenue data was available for this app during the quarter.
Family Tree! - Logic Puzzles experienced a downward trend in both revenue and downloads. Revenue started at $320 at the end of September and dropped to $86 by the end of December. Downloads followed a similar pattern, starting at 1.9K in late September and decreasing to 79 by the end of the year. Active users also decreased significantly, from 2K in late September to 560 by the end of December.
Thief Puzzle: to pass a level saw a steady increase in downloads towards the end of the quarter, reaching 888 in the last week of December, up from a low of 240 in October. Active users showed a similar trend, starting at 1.1K in late September and peaking at 1.6K in the last week of December.
