As the year 2023 came to a close, the real-time strategy gaming scene on iOS in Europe witnessed a diverse range of user engagement. Sensor Tower's data provides us with a glimpse into the performance of the top five RTS applications in this competitive market.
Clash Royale from Supercell maintained a strong presence, with downloads peaking at 110K in late October before settling to 107K by the year's end. The game's revenue trended upward, hitting a high of nearly $1M in early November, and weekly active users surged to over 6M in the same period, demonstrating a solid player base.
Blizzard Entertainment's Warcraft Rumble made a splash with its November release, quickly ramping up to substantial revenue figures, peaking at nearly $700K in the first full week after launch. Downloads saw an explosive start with 380K in the release week, and active users peaked at over 305K shortly after, showcasing the title's initial draw.
Hong Kong Ke Mo software Co.'s Infinite Galaxy saw more modest figures, with weekly revenues hovering around the $40K mark throughout the quarter and downloads ranging from 9 to 107. Weekly active users showed a slight decline, ending the quarter at just over 2K.
Voodoo's Mob Control experienced steady download numbers, with a high of 32K in early December, while revenue saw a rise towards the end of the quarter, reaching $46K. Active users also peaked in December at 88K, suggesting a growing interest in the game.
Lastly, Riot Games' TFT: Teamfight Tactics displayed a consistent download rate, with a notable increase to 15K by Christmas. Revenue experienced a significant spike in late November at $73K before leveling out, and active users remained relatively stable, with a slight decrease to 178K.
