As the year wrapped up, the tycoon game genre remained a vibrant segment on the iOS platform in Latin America. Sensor Tower's latest data showcases the performance of the top five tycoon games in the fourth quarter of 2023.

Township by Playrix experienced a notable uptick in downloads, jumping from around 12K in late September to over 60K by the year's end. Weekly active users also saw an upward trend, starting at approximately 153K and growing to just over 200K. The game's revenue remained steady, peaking at around 85K USD in the final week of December.

Supercell's Hay Day showed a mixed trend, with downloads fluctuating around the 10K to 19K mark and an end-of-quarter spike to 19K. Revenue saw highs and lows, reaching up to 47K USD but dipping to around 31K USD in some weeks. Weekly active users began at 189K and climbed to 191K by the quarter's close.

Melsoft's Family Island — Farming game had a modest quarter, with downloads hovering between 5K and 9K, and revenue peaking at 40K USD in late November. Active users started at 34K and showed a slight increase to nearly 30K by December 25th.

Last Fortress: Underground from IM30 TECHNOLOGY LIMITED maintained a lower profile, with download numbers ranging from a few hundred to over 450 in the holiday week. Revenue saw a gradual increase, ending the quarter at just under 12K USD. The game's weekly active users count remained below 4K throughout the quarter.

Finally, The Simpsons™: Tapped Out by Electronic Arts displayed a download surge in November, peaking at 24K before settling down to 6K by the year's end. Despite a revenue jump to 31K USD in mid-November, the game ended the quarter with a consistent revenue of around 3K USD, and active users saw a high of 60K in late November.
