In the final quarter of 2023, the cooking game category saw varied performances across the top applications in the United States. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into how each app fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story experienced a fluctuating revenue trend, peaking at around $808K in early November. Downloads saw a significant boost in mid-November with over 41K new users, while weekly active users reached a high of approximately 331K in the same period.
Love & Pies - Merge Mystery maintained a steady revenue with a notable spike to $366K in mid-October. Downloads remained relatively stable, with a peak at over 18K in late October. The game also saw a substantial increase in weekly active users, reaching over 357K by the end of December.
The revenue for Cooking Madness-Kitchen Frenzy hovered around the $280K to $290K mark for most of the quarter, with downloads peaking at nearly 74K in late October. Weekly active users showed an upward trend, culminating in over 405K users during the holiday season.
Bingo Frenzy-Live Bingo Games saw its revenue increase towards the end of the quarter, reaching close to $286K. The game maintained a consistent download rate, with a slight increase to over 20K in the last week of December. The active user base also grew, ending the quarter with over 113K users.
Lastly, Cooking Diary® Restaurant Game showed a revenue trend with minor fluctuations, peaking at $204K in early November. The game's downloads saw a high point of over 12K in early December, but weekly active users experienced a slight decline, finishing at around 135K.
