In the fourth quarter of 2023, the performance of the top 5 Delivered Meal Kits and Specialty Foods applications on the unified platform in Switzerland presented a mixed bag of results. Here’s a closer look at how each app fared during this period, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced notable growth in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue peaked at approximately $7.7K in the final week of December, showing a significant increase from early October when it was around $1.1K. Downloads followed a similar upward trend, starting at 1.2K in late September and escalating to 3.7K by the end of December. Weekly active users also surged, climbing from 13.8K in late September to 29.4K by the close of the quarter.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery maintained a steady user base throughout Q4 2023. Weekly active users hovered around 10K, with a slight dip to 9.8K in mid-December. Downloads showed a gradual decline from 306 in late September to 247 by the end of December.
CrowdFarming saw fluctuating download numbers throughout the quarter. The app started with 144 downloads in late September, dipped to 23 by the end of December, and had various peaks and troughs in between.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery showed sporadic download activity. Downloads ranged from a low of 0 to a high of 21, with the highest number of weekly active users reaching 49 in the last week of December.
Lastly, mymuesli had minimal download activity, with numbers fluctuating between 0 and 13 throughout the quarter.
