In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five delivered meal kits and specialty foods apps in Spain demonstrated diverse performance metrics across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, according to Sensor Tower data.
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced significant growth in downloads and revenue. Downloads surged from 707 in late September to nearly 5.9K by the end of December. Weekly revenue followed a similar upward trend, starting at $242 and peaking at $400 in the last week of the year. Weekly active users also saw a notable increase, rising from 16.4K in late September to 34.8K by the end of December.
Aquaservice had a fluctuating download pattern. It began with 3.3K downloads in late September, dipped to 689 by the end of December, but maintained a steady number of weekly active users, fluctuating around the 13K-18K range throughout the quarter.
HelloFresh: Meal Kit Delivery showed consistent performance in terms of weekly active users, maintaining around 10K-11K throughout the quarter. However, its downloads saw a slight decline, starting at 605 in late September and dropping to 394 by the end of December.
Bene Bono experienced a downward trend in downloads, starting with 313 in late September and decreasing to 56 by the end of December. There was no revenue data available for this app.
Factor_ Prepared Meal Delivery saw a gradual increase in downloads, beginning with just 8 in late September and growing to 87 by the end of December. Weekly active users also increased steadily, from 54 to 158 over the same period.
