Throughout Q4 2023, the leading food and diet tracking apps in Germany showcased varying trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides a detailed look into the performance of these top apps.
YAZIO Calorie Counter & Diet experienced a notable increase in revenue, peaking at approximately $276K in the final week of December. Downloads spiked to around 33K during the same week. Weekly active users saw a decline from 834K in late September to 678K by the end of December.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter had a relatively stable quarter in terms of revenue, ranging from $30K to $40K weekly. Downloads rose to approximately 12K in the last week of December. Weekly active users fluctuated, ending the quarter at 424K, down from 618K in late September.
Yuka - Food & Cosmetic Scanner maintained a steady revenue stream, reaching around $1.3K by the end of December. Downloads increased to about 10K in the final week of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at 16K.
Lifesum: Diet and Food Tracker saw its revenue peak at approximately $30K in the last week of December. Downloads also showed an upward trend, reaching around 7.6K in the same week. Weekly active users, however, declined from 185K in late September to 133K by the end of December.
BMI Calculator – Weight Loss had significant fluctuations in downloads, spiking to about 23K in mid-October and again to 7.5K in the final week of December. Weekly active users increased from 2K in late September to 6K by the end of December.
