During the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five food delivery services in Chile showed varied performance in terms of downloads and weekly active users, according to data from Sensor Tower. Here's a closer look at how each app fared:
PedidosYa - Delivery App saw a consistent pattern in its downloads, starting at 20K and reaching a peak of approximately 26K by the end of December. Weekly active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, peaking at around 637K at the end of October and then settling around 579K by the end of the year.
Uber Eats: Food Delivery experienced a downward trend in downloads, beginning at about 22K in late September and declining to roughly 12K in mid-December, before a slight recovery to 15K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating between 195K and 235K.
Rappi: Market and Food Online downloads showed some variability, with highs of 12K in late October and lows of 8.5K in mid-December. Weekly active users remained relatively steady, averaging around 245K, though a slight dip to 229K was observed in mid-December.
Cornershop by Uber: Groceries had a stable download rate, with numbers hovering around 2.9K for most of the quarter, but a notable peak of 3K was seen in late December. Weekly active users remained consistent, averaging around 12K, with minor fluctuations.
Cornershop for Shoppers showed a significant drop in downloads from about 2K in mid-October to just 61 by the end of December. Weekly active users followed a similar trend, peaking at 8.6K in mid-November and dropping to around 6.5K by the end of the quarter.
