France's Top 5 Food Delivery Apps' Performance in Q4 2023

As the year 2023 wrapped up, the food delivery service sector in France witnessed varied performances among the top applications. Data provided by Sensor Tower offers a quantitative glimpse into the trends of downloads and weekly active users for these services on the unified platform, combining both iOS and Android metrics.

Too Good To Go: End Food Waste observed an initial increase in downloads from 58K in the last week of September to approximately 69K by the end of October. However, this trend saw a downturn, finishing December at nearly 39K. Weekly active users peaked at 1.6M in mid-October but ended the quarter with around 1M users.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery downloads fluctuated, peaking at 52K in early October and declining to 38K by mid-December, before rising slightly to 46K in the final week of the year. The app's active users saw a high of 1.9M in mid-October and, after some variation, concluded the quarter with about 1.4M active users.

Jow - easy recipes & groceries experienced a general decline in downloads from 42K to 30K by the year's end. Its weekly active users followed a similar pattern, starting at 242K and dipping to 157K in the same period.

Deliveroo: Food Delivery App downloads saw a significant spike in the final week of November, reaching over 42K, but otherwise maintained a range between 20K and 27K. Active users reached their zenith at 542K in late November but dropped to 354K by the end of December.

Lastly, Vivino: Buy the Right Wine showed a remarkable revenue increase from $533 to $1.6K during the quarter. Downloads for Vivino surged in December, with a dramatic increase from 11K to 36K. The app's weekly active users more than doubled from 113K to 245K in the same timeframe.
