Q4 2023 Performance of Top Merge Games in Europe

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the merge game category remained a favorite among European mobile gamers. Sensor Tower's latest data showcases the performance of the top five merge games on the unified platform, highlighting their downloads, revenue, and active user trends.

Travel Town - Merge Adventure by Magmatic Games Ltd saw a steady increase in revenue, ending the quarter with $858K in the last week of December, up from $544K at the quarter's start. Downloads surged from roughly 54K to 176K, while weekly active users climbed from 467K to 730K.

Metacore Games Oy's Merge Mansion experienced fluctuating revenue, peaking at $733K in late October before ending the quarter at $648K. Downloads showed a more consistent trend, with a slight increase from 41K to 51K, and active users touched a high of over 1M in late October, concluding the quarter at 965K.

From Microfun Limited, Gossip Harbor®: Merge & Story witnessed its revenue peak at $533K in mid-December, with a notable increase from the beginning of the quarter at $427K. Downloads saw a decline from 72K to 65K, whereas the weekly active users showed a modest rise from 445K to 453K by year-end.

The beloved Merge Dragons! from Gram Games peaked at $390K in revenue during the Christmas week, up from $305K in late September. Downloads hovered around the 20K to 25K mark throughout the quarter, while active users remained stable, ending at 439K from an initial 470K.

Lastly, Alice‘s Dream : Merge Island showed a revenue increase from $140K to $241K. The game, released nearly a year prior, had a significant drop in downloads from 111K in early October to 25K by the end of December. Active users also saw a decline, starting at 548K and dropping to 463K.
