As the year 2023 drew to a close, the mobile online battle arena (MOBA) category continued to engage players across Europe. Sensor Tower's comprehensive data provides a snapshot of the performance of the top five MOBA applications on the unified platform (iOS and Android) during the fourth quarter.

Brawl Stars from Supercell witnessed an impressive upward trend in all key metrics. The game saw its weekly revenue increase from around $816K in late September to a peak of $2.56M during the Christmas week. Downloads followed a similar trajectory, starting at approximately 229K and soaring to 655K in the same period. The title's weekly active users also grew significantly, from 13.8M to 32.9M, marking a strong finish to the year.

Mobile Legends: Bang Bang by Shanghai Moonton Technology also experienced positive trends. Revenue fluctuated but stayed in the range of $566K to $855K weekly. Downloads saw a modest increase from 127K to 159K, while active users had a slight uptick from 3.1M to 3.4M by the quarter's end.

Riot Games' League of Legends: Wild Rift showed mixed results in the European market. The game's revenue saw peaks and valleys, eventually decreasing from $395K to $350K weekly. Lastly, Arena of Valor from Level Infinite, while having the smallest figures among the top five, showed steady numbers. Revenue remained under $15K weekly, with a slight increase towards the end of the quarter. Downloads hovered around the 4K to 5K mark, and weekly active users saw a marginal decrease, ending at 30K.
