State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top five shopping applications in Kuwait showed varied performance metrics across downloads, active users, and revenue. Here’s a closer look at the trends:
Temu: Shop Like a Billionaire saw a significant increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 11K in late September and peaking at over 39K in the third week of November. Despite fluctuations, the app maintained a strong presence with downloads consistently above 20K throughout the quarter. Active users followed a similar upward trend, beginning at approximately 10.9K and reaching nearly 68K by the end of December.
SHEIN - Shopping Online had a steady climb in weekly downloads, starting from 12.9K in late September and reaching a high of 27.5K in the first week of November. Active users for SHEIN were robust, maintaining figures above 200K throughout the quarter, peaking at around 245.6K in early November.
Trendyol: Fashion & Trends experienced a steady increase in downloads, moving from 607 in late September to a peak of 8.9K in early December. Active users also showed a gradual rise, starting at 9.1K and reaching up to 15.6K by early December.
Chicpoint - Fashion shopping had a stable download rate, with figures ranging from 2.5K to 6.1K throughout the quarter. Active users saw a consistent increase, starting at nearly 15K in late September and ending the year at approximately 15.5K.
Finally, السوق المفتوح - OpenSooq maintained a steady weekly download rate of around 4K. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering around 40K to 41K throughout the quarter. The app also saw a gradual increase in weekly revenue, starting at $413 and reaching $500 by the last week of December.
