The final quarter of 2023 has seen fluctuating trends in the Squad RPG category in Europe. With data sourced from Sensor Tower, we delve into the performance of the top five applications on the unified platform, providing a snapshot of the industry's dynamics.
Hero Clash: Playtime Go experienced a surge in downloads, peaking at 311K in late October, before descending to 52K by the year's end. Revenue followed a similar trend, hitting a high of $76K in late November. Weekly active users mirrored this pattern, reaching a zenith at 451K in October, then declining to 233K in the final week of December.
Nuverse Games' Dragonheir: Silent Gods witnessed a gradual decrease in downloads from 308K to 34K, while revenue saw an initial dip to $123K in early December, followed by a rise to $195K mid-month, and a closing figure of $158K. Active users started strong at 392K, then experienced a steady decline, ending the quarter at 200K.
Lunime's Gacha Club, despite showing no revenue, maintained a consistent download rate, from 85K to 66K, and a robust active user base, peaking at over 1M in early October and concluding the quarter with 831K users.
Titan War by Glacier entertainment had a modest start with downloads at 2K, which skyrocketed to 176K by Christmas. Revenue reflected growth from $21K to $64K, and weekly active users saw an impressive ascent from 122K to 485K.
Finally, Habby's SOULS began the quarter with 73K downloads, reaching a low of 41K, before climbing back to 66K. Revenue fluctuated, with a notable peak of $245K in mid-December, and active users ranged from 170K to 221K throughout the quarter.
