State of AI Apps Report 2025 is Live!

In the fourth quarter of 2023, the top 5 tools apps in the United Kingdom demonstrated notable performance trends. Data from Sensor Tower provides insights into their weekly downloads, active users, and revenue.
QR & Barcode Scanner experienced consistent weekly downloads, starting from 30.2K in late September and peaking at 40K in early December. The app saw a steady increase in active users, maintaining around 470K by the end of December.
Samsung Smart Switch Mobile showed a significant rise in weekly downloads, reaching a high of 63.9K in the final week of December. Active users followed a similar upward trend, growing from 96.4K in late September to 174.7K by the end of the quarter.
Move to iOS saw its weekly downloads peak at 36.6K in the last week of December, while active users increased from 54.4K in late September to over 104K by the end of the quarter.
GOV.UK ID Check experienced a decline in weekly downloads, from 55.7K in late September to 32.6K in the final week of December. Despite this, the app maintained a high number of active users, peaking at 608K in mid-December.
Bing: Chat with AI & GPT-4 showed fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of 68.2K in late October. Active users also saw a consistent rise, reaching 377.7K by mid-December.
