The fourth quarter of 2023 saw significant activity in the virtual fitness app market in Ireland. Here's a detailed look at the performance trends of the top five apps in this category.
Fitbit: Health & Fitness experienced notable fluctuations in its weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $23.7K in the final week of December. Downloads surged significantly in the last two weeks of the year, reaching 6.8K and 11.4K, respectively. The app's weekly active users also peaked at around 97.9K during the same period.
For Strava: Run, Bike, Hike, revenue showed a gradual increase towards the end of the quarter, peaking at roughly $13K in the final week of December. Downloads spiked to 2.4K in the last week of the year, while weekly active users saw a rise to 47.6K.
JustFit: Lazy Workout & Fit demonstrated a mixed trend in revenue, reaching around $2.6K mid-November. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 2.3K in early November and then again at 1.9K in the last week of December. Weekly active users increased steadily throughout the quarter, hitting a high of 3.6K by the end of December.
Garmin Connect™ saw a significant boost in downloads, particularly in the last week of December, reaching 5.4K. Weekly active users also experienced a rise, peaking at 77.5K during the same period.
AllTrails: Hike, Bike & Run showed a strong performance in revenue, peaking at $3.9K in early November. Downloads spiked to 1.8K in the final week of December, while weekly active users saw a significant increase to 5.8K during the same period.
