In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 2D anime games on the Android platform in Europe showed varied performance across weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at how these games fared, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Left or right: Magic Dress up by ABI Games Studio, which launched on February 20, 2024, saw impressive weekly download numbers. Downloads peaked at around 952K in the week of February 26, but gradually declined to approximately 306K by the end of March. Active users surged to 1.1M in the week of March 4, before stabilizing around 781K by the end of the quarter.
YOYO Decor: Doll Dress Up from YoYo Dress Up Games saw a consistent rise in weekly revenue, peaking at $47 in the week of March 11. Weekly downloads reached their highest at about 238K in the week of February 26, while active users climbed steadily, peaking at nearly 485K by the last week of March.
Hero Wars: Alliance by NEXTERS GLOBAL LTD demonstrated strong financial performance, with weekly revenue peaking at approximately $410K in the week of February 26. Downloads, however, showed a downward trend, starting at 88K in early January and dropping to about 51K by the end of March. Active user numbers remained relatively steady, hovering around 350K to 425K throughout the quarter.
Gacha Life from Lunime maintained a steady performance in weekly downloads, ranging between 62K and 82K. Revenue peaked at $52 in the week of February 19, while active users remained robust, peaking at around 963K in the week of March 18.
Cute Drawing : Anime Color Fan by JoyCraze saw a consistent weekly revenue, peaking at $113 in the week of February 12. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at about 80K in early January and falling to around 50K by the end of March. Active users peaked at approximately 221K in the final week of March.
