During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 casual games on the Android platform in Europe showcased diverse performance metrics in terms of weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here's a closer look at each game's performance based on data from Sensor Tower.
Coin Master saw impressive weekly revenue, peaking at approximately $6.2M in late January. Weekly downloads showed a downward trend early in the quarter but stabilized around 87K by the end of March. The game maintained a strong user base, with weekly active users fluctuating between 1.1M and 1.2M.
MONOPOLY GO! experienced a peak in weekly revenue of about $3.8M in mid-February. However, its weekly downloads saw a gradual decline from 476K at the start of January to 198K by the end of March. Active users also decreased steadily, starting at 1.17M and ending the quarter at 821K.
Royal Match had a consistent weekly revenue, averaging around $2.7M throughout the quarter. The game's weekly downloads peaked at 739K in early February but dropped to 301K by the end of March. Active user numbers remained robust, hovering around 7M.
Candy Crush Saga maintained stable weekly revenue, with figures averaging around $2.3M. Weekly downloads experienced a decline from 210K in early January to 175K by the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, fluctuating around 3.5M.
Gardenscapes showed moderate weekly revenue, averaging about $1.7M. Weekly downloads saw a significant drop from 208K at the beginning of the quarter to 85K by the end of March. The game’s active users fluctuated between 2.2M and 1.8M throughout the quarter.
