In the first quarter of 2024, cat-themed games have continued to entertain and engage users across Europe on the Android platform. Here's a brief look at the performance of the top five cat games, with insights from Sensor Tower.
The Battle Cats from PONOS Corporation showed a fluctuating trend in revenue starting with approximately $23K in the first week of January and ending with around $13K by March end. Downloads peaked at 25K in mid-January, with weekly active users reaching a high of 127K in the same period before settling around 92K towards the end of March.
My Cat - Virtual pet simulator by Appsyoulove demonstrated a more stable revenue, starting at $21K in the new year and rising to nearly $23K by March. The game experienced a significant surge in downloads to 160K in mid-February, with weekly active users peaking at 371K in the same timeframe and then slightly decreasing to around 261K by the quarter's end.
Gameduo's Cat Hero : Idle RPG saw modest revenue with a small peak of $11K in mid-January, ending the quarter with nearly $9K. Downloads showed a downward trend, starting at 3K and ending at 527 for the last week of March. Weekly active users hovered around 10K throughout the quarter.
Special Gamez's Kitten Match started the quarter with revenue of $9K and saw a slight increase to $7.6K by the end of March. Downloads remained steady, with a slight peak at 5.7K in mid-February, while weekly active users showed a consistent trend, starting at 98K and slightly decreasing to 77.5K.
Lastly, Tropicats: Tropical Match3 from Wooga maintained a steady revenue throughout the quarter, beginning with $4.1K and ending with around $4K, despite not having any new downloads recorded in this period. Active user data for Tropicats was not available for the quarter.
