The feline fanciers of the United States have been actively engaging with their favorite cat-themed games on Android in the first quarter of 2024. Sensor Tower provides us with a purr-spective on how these apps have been performing in terms of downloads, revenue, and user engagement.
The Battle Cats by PONOS Corporation has shown a consistent performance with weekly revenues fluctuating between $41K and $84K. The game experienced a spike in downloads mid-January, reaching nearly 17K, while weekly active users peaked at 93K in the same period.
Meanwhile, My Cat - Virtual pet simulator from Appsyoulove has seen its revenue drop from $30K to around $21K towards the end of the quarter. Downloads had a high at 26K in the first week of January, and weekly active users saw a high of 92K, with a gradual decrease to 71K by the quarter's end.
Gameduo's Cat Hero : Idle RPG showed an interesting trend with a revenue jump in late February, reaching over $26K. Downloads peaked at over 4K the same week that revenue saw an uptick. Active users reflected a modest growth, starting at 2.6K and ending the quarter at around 2.7K.
Special Gamez' Kitten Match, despite having no new downloads reported, managed to generate revenue between $8K and $13K weekly. The active user base showed a decline, starting at 5.3K and ending at 2.6K.
Lastly, Cats & Soup - Cute Cat Game by HIDEA saw revenues that varied between $6.7K and $11.8K. Downloads started strong at 8.4K but saw a dip to 5K towards the end of the quarter. Active users hit a high of 47.5K in mid-January but managed to end the quarter with a significant increase to 48.4K.
