As the first quarter of 2024 comes to a close, we at Sensor Tower have taken a deep dive into the performance of the leading consumer finance apps on the Android platform in the United States. Here's how the top contenders fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.

Rocket Money - Bills & Budgets started the quarter with a strong 128K downloads, but saw a gradual decrease to 55K by the end of March. Revenue showcased some fluctuation with peaks and troughs, ending the quarter with around $42K. Weekly active users followed a similar downward trend from 710K to 635K.

EveryDollar: Budget Tracker experienced a decline in downloads from 14K to 7K throughout the quarter. Revenue peaked mid-January at nearly $50K before settling around $32K towards the end of March. Active users remained relatively stable, hovering just below 90K.

YNAB saw downloads drop from 12K to just over 2K. Revenue saw a mid-quarter spike to $47K but eventually receded to about $26K. Weekly active users remained fairly consistent, with a slight decrease from 52K to 49K.

Monarch: Budget & Track Money downloads fluctuated between 6K and 3K, while revenue observed a notable increase from $17K to $19K in the final week of March. Detailed data on weekly active users was not available for Monarch.

Quicken Simplifi: Budget Smart downloads showed an upward trend, from 4K in the first week of January to over 4K by the end of March. Revenue also followed an increasing pattern, finishing the quarter at just over $10K. Active user data was not provided for Quicken Simplifi.
