During the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 consumer finance applications on the Android platform in Switzerland showed varying performance trends in terms of weekly downloads and active users. The data, provided by Sensor Tower, highlights the dynamics of these apps in the Swiss market.
debiX+ from SIX Group saw a fluctuating download trend throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started strong at 4K in the first week of January, dipped mid-January to around 2.5K, and then peaked again at approximately 4.9K in the last week of January. The app maintained a steady download rate in February, ranging between 2.3K and 3.7K, and ended March with a notable rise to 4K downloads.
one – control over your cards by Viseca Payment Services SA experienced a relatively stable download pattern. Weekly downloads hovered around 1.7K to 2.1K, with a slight dip to 1.5K in the last week of March. The app's active users started at 47.9K in early January, peaked at 49.1K mid-month, and then saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at 45.1K.
The PostFinance App had consistent download numbers, starting at 1.7K and peaking at 2.1K in late January. The app's active user base showed considerable activity, beginning with 120K users in early January and peaking at 128K by the end of the month. Although there were fluctuations, the app maintained over 120K active users throughout the quarter.
Raiffeisen E-Banking from Raiffeisen Schweiz Genossenschaft showed steady download rates, starting at 1.4K and maintaining a range between 1.2K and 1.6K. The app's active users began at 57.4K, with a slight dip mid-quarter to 53.7K, and ended March with 54.7K active users.
Lastly, UBS Access: Secure login by UBS AG experienced a consistent download rate, starting at 1.2K and peaking at 1.3K mid-January. The app's active users started strong at 71.8K, peaking at 73.5K mid-January, but saw a gradual decline, ending the quarter at 66.7K.
