Q1 2024 Performance of Top Convenience Store Apps on Android in the US

In the first quarter of 2024, the convenience store app category has shown a dynamic performance on the Android platform within the United States. Sensor Tower's data provides a glimpse into how these apps have fared in terms of downloads and weekly active users.

Dollar General maintained a steady upward trend in downloads, starting the quarter with approximately 44K and peaking at around 66K. Weekly active users began at around 640K, reaching a high of approximately 717K by the end of February.

Circle K experienced fluctuations in downloads, initially at about 41K and then dipping to roughly 33K before soaring to approximately 71K in early March. Active users showed a progressive increase from around 212K to 294K, indicating growing engagement throughout the quarter.

Family Dollar saw its downloads decrease in the early weeks, from around 36K to 21K, but later stabilized to about 18K towards the end of March. Their active users, however, declined from approximately 54K to 42K.

7-Eleven: Rewards & Shopping had a varied downloads count, starting at roughly 18K, dipping to around 17K, and then picking up to approximately 25K in mid-March. The app's weekly active users remained robust, with a slight decrease from 413K to 407K.

Wawa showed a gradual increase in downloads from about 7K to 13K. Weekly active users presented a consistent picture, with numbers starting at around 105K and peaking at nearly 127K before slightly receding to approximately 116K.
