The first quarter of 2024 showcased interesting trends for the top dining and restaurant apps on the Android platform in Uruguay. Based on data from Sensor Tower, here's a detailed look at the performance of the top 5 apps in this category.
McDonald's Offers and Delivery from Arcos Dorados saw weekly downloads ranging between 2.7K and 3.6K throughout the quarter. The app started strong with 3.2K downloads in the first week of January and peaked at 3.6K in the second week. Weekly active users remained steady, fluctuating between 20.2K and 22.3K, maintaining a consistent user base.
Burger King® Uruguay experienced a varied download pattern, with numbers ranging from 1.4K to 1.9K. The app saw a notable increase in the last two weeks of March, reaching 1.9K downloads. Unfortunately, there was no data available for weekly active users.
Grido showed significant growth in weekly downloads starting from a modest 88 in the first week of January and peaking at 1.7K by the end of January. However, the downloads tapered off to around 672 by the last week of March. Active users followed a similar trend, starting at 360 and peaking at 2.4K by the end of January, then gradually declining to 1.5K by the end of the quarter.
Mostaza had a steady download rate, beginning with 438 downloads in the first week of January and seeing slight fluctuations throughout the quarter. The app peaked at 870 downloads in the last week of January and ended the quarter with 627 downloads. Data for weekly active users was not available.
Zomato: Food Delivery & Dining maintained a consistent download rate, averaging around 300 downloads per week. The app started with 298 downloads in the first week of January and saw a slight peak at 358 in the third week. Active users showed a stable trend, fluctuating between 7.2K and 7.6K, indicating a loyal user base.
