In the first quarter of 2024, the dragon gaming category has seen varied performances across key players on the Android platform in Europe. Sensor Tower provides a comprehensive look at how these games have fared in terms of downloads, revenue, and weekly active users.
Frost & Flame: King of Avalon by FunPlus International AG started the quarter with revenues around $390K, peaking at $429K towards the end of February, before dipping to $380K in late March. Downloads showed a decreasing trend from 8K in the first week of January to 1K by the end of March. Weekly active users echoed this decline, starting at around 31K and falling to 16K.
Dragonscapes Adventure from Century Games PTE. LTD. showed a more stable revenue pattern, with an initial $183K in the first week of January and a slight peak of $215K by the end of that month. The game maintained a download rate ranging from 24K to 12K over the quarter, while active users started at 202K and ended the quarter at 158K.
Zynga's Merge Dragons! revenue fluctuated, starting at $213K, dipping mid-quarter to around $141K, and rebounding to $186K by late March. Downloads showed an increase from 14K in early January to 17K by the end of March, with weekly active users ranging from 282K at the start of the quarter to 280K at the end.
Call of Dragons by FARLIGHT presented a revenue growth from $145K in the first week of January to a notable $209K by the end of March. Downloads saw a high of 34K in the first week, with a slight decrease to 19K by the quarter's close. Active users showed a general decline from 117K to 103K over the same period.
Lastly, Dragon City: Mobile Adventure by Social Point saw its revenue start at $80K and peak at $77K in early March, with downloads peaking at 33K in mid-February. Weekly active users began the quarter at over 1M, experiencing a slight decline but remaining strong with 971K by the end of March.
