In Q1 2024, fitness enthusiasts in Brazil have been actively using various apps to stay fit and manage their weight. Here's a rundown of how the top fitness and weight loss apps have been performing on the Android platform, with insights provided by Sensor Tower.
Strava: Run, Bike, Hike saw its revenue dip in the early weeks, from around $36K to $21K, but picked up towards the end of the quarter, reaching nearly $34K. Downloads peaked at 67K in mid-January but gradually decreased to 29K by the end of March. The app's weekly active users started strong at 1M but showed a slight decline, stabilizing at around 848K.
Weight Loss for Women: Workout, a newer entrant, had modest revenues, hovering around the lower triple digits, with a high of $181 and a low of $68. Downloads began at 54K and saw a gradual decrease to 29K, while weekly active users started at 84K and had a slight dip to 61K by the quarter's end.
Home Workout - No Equipment generated revenues between $157 and $311, with downloads peaking at 52K in mid-February before dropping to 26K. The app's weekly active users saw a small decline from 362K to 297K over the quarter.
Water Tracker: Water Reminder experienced modest revenue figures, ranging from $36 to $67. Downloads spiked to 57K in mid-January but fell to 21K by the end of March. Weekly active users reached a high of 216K in mid-January, with a slight decrease to 188K by the close of the quarter.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter from Germany saw its revenue fall from $18K to nearly $9K, while downloads had a significant rise in the last week, reaching over 51K. Weekly active users were consistently high, starting at 476K and reaching a peak of 491K towards the end of March.
