In the first quarter of 2024, the top five food and diet tracking applications on the Android platform in Ukraine showcased notable trends in downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance.
Kalorické Tabulky from Dine4Fit, a.s. experienced significant growth in all key metrics. Weekly downloads surged from 5K in early January to over 10K by mid-February, peaking at 10.8K in the last week of February. The app's weekly revenue also saw a steady rise, starting at around $961 and reaching approximately $2.1K by the end of March. Active users increased consistently, climbing from 41.2K to 52.7K throughout the quarter.
YAZIO Food & Calorie Counter by YAZIO had a more moderate growth pattern. Weekly revenue fluctuated between $561 and $769, with the highest revenue recorded in the first week of January. Downloads showed a steady trend, starting at 1.4K and maintaining around 1.5K towards the end of March. Active users saw minor fluctuations, with a peak of 19.3K in early February and a slight decline to 17.6K by the end of the quarter.
Calorie Counter by FatSecret from FatSecret demonstrated stable performance. Weekly revenue hovered between $226 and $400, with a peak in mid-February. Downloads started at 1.6K and peaked at 3.5K in mid-March. Active users increased from 38.6K to 44.8K, showing robust user engagement throughout the quarter.
MyFitnessPal: Calorie Counter by MyFitnessPal, Inc. saw modest growth. Weekly downloads ranged from 263 to 514, with the highest download numbers in late March. Revenue varied between $208 and $451, peaking in early March. Active users increased from 3.6K to 4.3K, indicating a gradual rise in user base.
Lastly, 168 Intermittent Fasting App from Leap Fitness Group showed notable fluctuations. Weekly downloads ranged from 1.4K to 7.5K, with a significant spike in mid-February. Revenue remained relatively stable, averaging around $200. Active users peaked at 29.9K in mid-February before settling at 23.5K by the end of March.
