During the first quarter of 2024, the top five food delivery service applications on the Android platform in Saudi Arabia showed varied performance in terms of weekly revenue, downloads, and active users. Here’s a closer look:
Vivino: Buy the Right Wine experienced fluctuations in weekly revenue, starting at $49 in the first week of January and then showing a general decline to around $16-$28 for the rest of the quarter. The app saw its highest weekly revenue of $30 in the week of February 19. However, it struggled with weekly downloads, recording only 5 downloads in mid-January and none for the rest of the period.
Jow - easy recipes & groceries showed a gradual increase in weekly revenue starting from $4 at the end of February and reaching up to $9 in mid-March. Despite this growth in revenue, the app did not record any downloads throughout the quarter.
Fussy Vegan Pro maintained a consistent but low weekly revenue, starting at $4 in the first week of January and gradually declining to $1 by the end of March. Similar to Jow, this app did not record any downloads during the entire quarter.
A101 Bim Şok Katalog had an inconsistent revenue performance with peaks and troughs. The app saw its highest weekly revenue of $6 in the week of March 11 and various other smaller peaks. However, like several others, it did not record any downloads throughout the quarter.
Gito, a newcomer released in August 2023, did not show any revenue or download activity until the last week of March when it recorded no revenue or downloads.
