In the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 gacha games on Android in South America showed diverse trends in weekly downloads, revenue, and active users. Here’s a detailed look at their performance:
eFootball™ 2024 from KONAMI saw weekly revenue peak at approximately $154K in early January, but it gradually declined, settling around $110K towards the end of March. Weekly downloads showed a similar trend, starting strong with over 104K downloads in the first week of January and ending the quarter with around 105K. Active users fluctuated, starting at 7.6M, dipping mid-quarter, and then rising again to 8.2M by the end of March.
Genshin Impact: Natlan Launch by COGNOSPHERE PTE. LTD. experienced varying weekly revenue, peaking at $85K in late January but dropping to $31K by the end of March. Weekly downloads were more stable, ranging from 51K to 79K, while active users hovered between 573K and 678K throughout the quarter.
Last War:Survival Game from First Fun displayed a strong upward trend in both revenue and downloads. Weekly revenue grew from $20K in early January to $89K by the end of March. Downloads also increased significantly, peaking at 240K in early March. Active users showed a substantial rise, starting at 220K and reaching nearly 1M by the end of the quarter.
Empires & Puzzles: Match-3 RPG by Small Giant Games had a relatively stable performance. Weekly revenue peaked at $60K in early February but saw a decline to around $44K by the end of March. Downloads fluctuated, peaking at 16K in early February but dropping to around 5.7K by the end of March. Active users remained fairly consistent, ranging from 45K to 67K.
8 Ball Pool by Miniclip.com maintained a solid presence with weekly revenue peaking at $59K in mid-February and ending the quarter at $36K. Downloads were strong, with peaks up to 443K in mid-February, and active users ranged from 3.2M to 3.9M, showing a slight decline towards the end of the quarter.
