Latin America's geolocation gaming landscape has seen varied performances across top titles on the Android platform in the first quarter of 2024. Data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the downloads, revenue, and weekly active users for these engaging games.
Pokémon GO maintained its popularity with downloads peaking at nearly 200K and active users hitting a high of 10M. Revenue trends showed a significant spike in mid-February with figures reaching over $175K.
Competing for attention, Jurassic World Alive experienced its highest downloads at 36K in late January, while weekly active users climbed to 93K. The game's revenue saw a modest peak at around $7K early in the quarter.
On a lighter note, Tamadog - Puppy Pet Dog Games garnered attention with over 40K downloads at the start of the quarter and active users nearing 60K. Revenue remained on the lower side, circling around $2K.
The thrilling Five Nights at Freddy's AR started the quarter with downloads at 16K, but saw a decline in both downloads and weekly active users, the latter dipping below 25K. Revenue data was not a focus for this game as it hit zero by the end of January.
Lastly, Niantic's Monster Hunter Now had a quiet start with downloads initially under 500, but saw a remarkable surge in March, reaching up to 9.7K. Weekly active users also saw growth, increasing to over 148K towards the end of the quarter.
