Throughout the first quarter of 2024, the top 5 insurance apps on Android in Nigeria exhibited varying trends in weekly downloads and user engagement. Below is a detailed performance overview of each app, based on data from Sensor Tower.
Reliance Care from Reliance Health experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads. Starting at approximately 2.6K in the first week of January, downloads saw a dip mid-quarter, reaching around 1.3K by late February before stabilizing at roughly 1.4K towards the end of March.
Sanlam Nigeria showed a consistent performance in weekly downloads. Beginning the quarter with around 927 downloads, the app peaked at about 1.8K in mid-January and maintained a steady rate of approximately 1.3K to 1.5K downloads per week through the quarter's end.
MyAXA Plus by AXA Mansard (Nigeria) started the quarter with around 724 downloads and saw an upward trend, peaking at about 1.1K in mid-January. However, downloads declined gradually, ending the quarter with around 598 weekly downloads.
Bastion Mobile App from Bastion HMO exhibited modest download numbers. The app began with around 159 downloads in early January, experiencing slight growth and peaking at about 249 downloads in late January and mid-March.
Hygeia Mobile from Hygeia HMO had steady weekly downloads, starting at approximately 166 in the first week of January and peaking at around 308 downloads by early February. The app ended the quarter with around 179 weekly downloads.
